Besides the literature against it, I personally stopped drinking anything
with aspartame (nutrasweet) because about 5 years ago I had 2 feet of my
colon removed because of colon cancer. I then went through 6 months of
chemotherapy. Since then, thank God, all of my blood tests and colonoscopies
have been negative. No one in my family has had colon cancer. My parents and four siblings all died of other causes. Prior to my cancer, I was a heavy drinker of diet sodas for many years, ever since their inception. Did this cause my colon cancer? I do not know, but I have often wondered. |
